Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve been practicing telemedicine along with in-office appointments.
Asymptomatic individuals frequently transmit the SARS-COV-2 virus to others, which can result in serious morbidity and mortality. Therefore, our office is abiding by UCSF guidelines and practicing telemedicine whenever possible. We request that anyone who is ill and coming for an in-person visit, please check themselves for COVID-19 with a home antigen test beforehand.

To prepare for the appointment, we’ll email you a telemedicine protocol, so that you can prepare and derive the most benefit from your virtual visit. It’s been working out ably well and many patients find it more convenient.
